Village Tax and Accounting Solutions LLC is based in Central Florida and has been delivering professional services to small businesses and individuals for more than a decade. We are owned and operated by Villages’ residents to address the unique needs of The Villages, and surrounding communities and towns. We offer an array of services that can help you meet your financial goals, with expert advice from our professional accounting team.
Our team members are qualified, highly educated, and experienced professionals in both financial and tax accounting. We have the experience necessary to execute the job in accordance with federal and state tax laws and regulations, and can make sense of your receipts, bills, and notices. Our team of professionals works with you throughout the year to develop and implement tax and financial strategies to help you achieve your financial goals.

Our Amazing Team
Regina Duffy
CPA
Regina completed her undergraduate studies with a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Economics, and Government at Connecticut College, and received her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Hofstra University. Regina has her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in the states of Florida and NY.
She has more than 20 years of corporate finance experience working in the US, and internationally, and has held senior financial positions with Arthur Anderson, Nike, and Goodyear Tyre and Rubber Holdings. She took over the Village Tax and Accounting Solutions business in 2015.
Sage Lafayette
Senior Accountant
Sage is a senior accountant for Village Tax and Accounting Solutions, LLC. He completed his undergraduate studies and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Phoenix University. He received a graduate degree in Accounting and Taxation from Purdue University.
He has more than 20 years of work experience in
accounting, computer technology, software development, and in a supervisory capacity. He joined Village Tax and Accounting Solutions in 2016, and he works in all facets of tax and accounting including bookkeeping, payroll, and tax
preparation.
Sarah Hynds
Accountant Tax Professional
Sarah has been in the tax and accounting industry for more than 40 years, working in many firms and corporations in management and financial roles.
During her prior experience, she was the owner of her own accounting and tax firm for many years in Southern Indiana. She retired and relocated to The Villages in 2009. After several years of retirement, she has returned to work, joining the Village Tax & Accounting Solutions group. Her prior experience allows her to work in many roles as accountant and tax preparer for business and personal taxes, as well as estates and trusts.
Martha Davis
Accountant
Payroll Specialist; Notary Public. Martha has a BS in Business Administration from the University of Illinois and has 14 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping; she joined Village Tax & Accounting in January 2018.
Her past job experiences include hospital supply department management, DME sales, service, and patient education, pharmaceutical sales, and working at a non-profit organization supporting stroke survivors and their caregivers through
weekend retreats.
Melanie Konopka
Bookkeeper – Administrator
Melanie joined Village Tax and Accounting Solutions in 2022. She has a BS in Accounting from St. Peters College.
She has over 40 years of corporate accounting and management experience while working at Colgate Palmolive Co. and UPS. Melanie retired with her husband and moved to The Villages in 2007. She has returned to accounting to work with Village Tax and Accounting Solutions.
Joan DiMartino
Enrolled Agent
Joan completed her undergraduate studies with a Degree of Bachelor of Science in Organization Management at Calumet College of St Joseph in Hammond, Indiana, and received her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana. Joan is Licensed as an Enrolled Agent.
She has more than 35+ years working in the Public Accounting Industry. Her experience includes Business Accounting, Auditing, Tax and Management. Her tax proficiency includes Individuals, Corporations, Trusts and estates, Tax Resolution, and Offer In Compromise. Joan joined the Village Tax and Accounting Solutions business in 2022. She is an active member in the National Society of Accountants.
Mary Anne Worth
Office Administrator
Mary Anne joined Village Tax and Accounting Solutions LLC in 2016. Her prior years of corporate experience in various positions and levels in Verizon and in the Human Resources and Compensation fields have brought an added level of professionalism to the team.
She provides administrative support to the entire team and works closely with the accountants to manage day-to-day office operations.
Kevin Davis
Accountant
Kevin received his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Illinois. His experience includes general bookkeeping and sales tax.
Michael McMillan
Accountant Tax Professional
Michael has been in the tax industry for more than forty years, working as a tax professional in both Michigan and Ohio. Prior to moving to The Villages, he had eight years of prior tax preparation experience in Michigan, and he owned a tax practice in Ohio for thirty years.
Since moving to Florida three years ago, Michael has worked with two local investment companies preparing tax returns. He recently joined the Village Tax and Accounting Solutions team and will be involved with personal and small business tax preparation.
Katie Kane
Accountant Tax Professional
Katie received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance, from Stonehill College. Her professional experience over the last 15+ years, while in Massachusetts and New York, included roles in finance, bookkeeping, social media management, hospitality, and tax accounting.
In 2022, Katie moved to Florida to be closer to family and worked as a staff accountant for The Villages. She joined Village Tax and Accounting Solutions in 2023 and is currently pursuing a Masters in Accounting, with a concentration in taxation, at Stayer University weekend retreats,
Rudy- Office Greeter
Welcomes clients at the front door and offers comfort when clients experience stressful tax situations. He also welcomes the other four-legged animals that come in with their humans.
